Rescue mission
On my morning stroll alonge the lake shore I’ve met a fellow photographer. His name was Scott and he shared with me his concern about a duck that was frozen to the ice.
It could happen because that night the temperature dropped from +2 to -12 degrees Celsius.
We came to the place and took some attempts to free this poor duck. With no any tools or some special equipment it was pretty difficult to do that. The only things what we had were water and knife. Scott started to pour water from the lake on the ice under the duck and I tried to crush ice with the knife. Ice like a sponge sucked water and became loose. This help us to free the duck from ice prison.
The duck did not say “Thank you” just flew away. lol…
After mission was accomplished I found that Sun is coming. Here are some pictures on that lovely winter morning.

Thank you. It was easy because in the early morning you almost have nothing to do with it. The nature light painted itself the sky. I just made a little adjustment with contrast and saturation in LR. Nothing else. Mother Nature is the best Artist.
