Cape Spear
Cape Spear, located on the Avalon Peninsula near St. John’s, Newfoundland, is the easternmost point in Canada. Cape Spear is close to Blackhead, an amalgamated area of the City of St. John’s, about 1.86 miles (3 km) away.
It was still wintery on Easter Day there. However it was sunny and surprisingly quiet and made hiking and sightseeing pretty comfortable.

Here in Canada (Toronto) the weather is unpredictable. We had +2C on Wednesday and today is +14C. Tomorrow it is going to be +16C. Next week over+15C. Finally we have Spring.

This place is beautiful with its own charm. I stayed there for all Easter holiday to meet my daughter’s family.

For sure. Before they lived in Germany for twelve years and we did not have an opportunity to see them often. Now it is still not over the corner but at least we do not need to cross the ocean. We visited them even for the weekend because flight is only two and a half hour.

Thank you, Chris. It is nice place but the most important thing to have a good weather. Otherwise it is very difficult to shoot because of strong wind.
