Lanch Time at Luxembourg Garden

Straggle for Freedom

Luxembourg Garden Images (Jardin du Luxembourg) is the Parisian’s favourite place for various purposes. They walk, run, relax and even have lunch here. Because it is located close to Sorbonne University of Paris a lot of students come here at lunch time to have a rest and food. By that time the central alley looks like a huge crowdie campsite. The mix of talk, laugh, sing, music create a special atmosphere. It sounds like noise but doesn’t bother anybody because it is a part of busy city life.

    • It was unexpectedly special atmosphere and the feeling. I did not have lunch there but I really enjoyed people are so relaxed and natural in their behavior. Lovely place.

    • This Garden has a lot of things to enjoy but I did not expect that it is so natural to enjoy food and rest right on the grass. Wonderful place for being there.

      • Yes, and there are quite a few places in different cities where you are forbidden to walk on the grass!

      • And the explanation that people can ruin the grass is pretty ridiculous. I’ve been seeing the grass in our High Park for years and did not see any sign of damage although people all the time sitting, playing, walking and jogging there. Have a wonderful day!
