White Wonderland in April

Green and White, Snow in AprilFirst of April was not so funny. In the evening snow came to Toronto and area.
Snow is comingAfter couple of snowy days we had a real White Winter. It was both beautiful and terrible with all the mess snowfall has done. Despite of that we came back to Winter Wonderland.

  1. Beautiful photography, Alexander. We have snow here too. I’m not going to hurt myself this year and freeze by going out to begin opening my gardens. Nope. I’ll wait until the weather warms up. πŸ™‚

    • Thank you, Theadora.
Although we have snow today again it is not winter anymore. It is just a fake. In the morning birds are singing, on the flowerbeds crocuses are blooming, and the sun is much warmer.
Hard to believe less than a year ago I walked around Paris and enjoyed the lovely weather and the city. This city is a Feast which staying with you forever.
The memories warming up our nasty Spring. πŸ™‚

      • Oh, I love your description of the singing birds and blooming flowerbeds. And thoroughly enjoy how you thoroughly enjoy your environment. Positive energy is always contagious! Theadora

  2. Maybe it’s a “Good bye” from the winter! You say right, it ooks beautiful, but feels so cold.
But I also think, that Canada has a longer wintertime than Germany. πŸ™‚
Thanks for the beautiful Pictures, dear Alex!

    • Edith, it depends on your status and attitude. If you don’t need to drive and can watch all that mess through the window of your warm and cozy home you are ok. Otherwise you are in trouble. But from the positive side it is quiet experience which we don’t have so often.
      Have a nice day!

  3. yes we saw you got a dump.. it didn’t come this way, it was supposed to, we will likely get some of the flakes later this week.. snow makes for a wonderful natural decor, n’est pas..
