It is said that Lawn Bowls is a game that can be played by anyone aged from nine to ninety. However in Oakville Club I see most of the players are closer to the latter age group of people.

It is fun to watch this game. It looks the players are quiet and slow. However who knows what kind of emotions they experienced while playing.

I’ve walked by before and it seems to be a place of privilege, where anyone young probably couldn’t afford to set foot in.

The membership to this club is pretty high and this is why young fellas could not afford. I did not ask how much is it now but 15 year ago it was 5 grands for year.
