  1. Great shot, Alexander! Now, what happens to the lock? What are you supposed to do with the lock. I can’t recall . . .

    Bravo!

(The bridge now looks pretty darn spiffy without the locks. Great view, too.)

    • Thank you, Theadora! I hope with breaking these locks Love is still alive for those who left them on the bridge.

  3. Yes, we were there a couple months ago and the bridge has new panels that make it hard to attach locks. It really was getting out of hand.

  4. They make a pretty picture but the concept of the lock (and throwing away the key) I find a little strange. However it seems that many people find it a very romantic thing to do. 🙂

    • It is kind of superstition and really romantic thing. I’ve seen a lot of bridges in many places with the locks but that one impressed me a lot because of amount. Soon after we left Paris the bridge has been cleaned up of the locks because of railing collapse danger.

    • For sure it is but the bridge is looking different now. Soon after we left Paris one year ago it has been cleaned up of the locks to prevent railing collapse.
