According to these pictures looks like you have had quite a lot of rain too. This is the first time I have seen aTrillium, at least to my memory. Beautiful, Alexander! 💞
By the second half of May and beginning of June we had a lot of rain and thunderstorms. Only today the sun came back to us. However everything around is green and fat. Fortunately, I missed that nasty weather because of my unexpected trip to Jerusalem – the the holy place and spirit.
As a kid, I too believed the myth from teachers that it’s illegal to pick the trillium. Now that I know it’s a myth; however, I still don’t know why or when the myth was started in the first place.
So beautiful
