Sweet bird.

It was surprise to see these lovely birds in the city. We’ve seen not the adult species but small and cute newborns. Crossbills breed very early in the year, often in winter months, to take advantage of maximum cone supplies. They have special shape of beak to make it easy to extract seeds from cones.
