  1. When I had a sailboat, I used to hear people saying this about sunrises and sunsets:
Red sky at night, sailors delight.
Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning.
Whatever the case, your photos are strikingly beautiful!

    • Thank you! I’ve heard that kind or forecast predictions, or whatever it is, in my life. Believe it or not, but they work in many cases.

      • I would have been excited as well. You must have had to get up pretty early to see this sunrise. Well worth it, IMO!

      • My day usually begins in between 4 and 5 in the morning. By that time I cannot do anything noisy at home and the best place to enjoy that quiet time is the shore of the lake which is not far away from my home.

      • I’m trying to rearrange my schedule so that I can be out of this house sunrise time and in the park I plan to go to. Not sure if I can do it, however, on account of how much is required of me in the mornings. I haven’t had my “quiet time” in a while and boy(!) I notice it. I’m about 20 minutes from the lake myself. The problem there is how to get down to the lake shore. The roads are so confusing and if you don’t know where you are going, you can end up in Buffalo. Perhaps I’ll invest in a GPS. (smile)

      • You have some habitants at home like cats and this is why you have to take care of them. I believe your husband doesn’t require a lot of care.
I have only my lovely self-sufficient wife. The only her request to me in the early morning do not bother. This is why I am free to go till 8 in the morning. 😄
You do not need GPS nowadays just download application Waze or something similar and here you go.

      • That goes to show you how much I know about gadgets and apps. LOL Yes the reason why I’m so busy in the morning is because of my cats. But if I can possibly get me out of here before my schedule is due to begin, that would be awesome. The other problem is my cats, especially those who depend on me to stay alive, are extremely attached to me and know the schedule like clockwork. Yes they do get upset at times when Mom is out or the schedule is changed. Yep, lots to think about!
