Alexander, that is one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever seen. The overall sense of order and neat and zen touches my very soul. I am so impressed this is your home. It doesn’t even look lived in. My goodness. If you saw our house it is VERY lived in with as many cats as we have plus my husband is a pack rat. You’ve inspired me to be more in the “mood” to zen my home over the Winter. Thank you!
Thank you, Amy, very much.
You know, we try to collect impressions and memories instead of unnecessary things. I learnt this from my grandmothers. Another thing that helps us to get rid of extra stuff is our often moving. 🙂
For me to be moving a lot would be so so stressful. When you stay in one place for a LONG time, stuff does tend to collect. Hubby and I have begun to dig out and it really feels good. I did cry over getting rid of my ice skates, though. Those days for me are over especially with my back. Again, I really couldn’t get over you home. Amazing!!
Amy, you are right, it’s hard to rid of the things you love and things which remind you the good days of the past. But we still have a lot of things which are not so valuable and we do not use them for years. In our case these things go to donation or to garbage.
All of us are different this is why we live our own life. Could you imagine if all of us were the same, identical like robots. The Life would be boring. Beauty of the World is in diversity!
Thank you very much. I’ll try to appreciate whatever she’s doing. Actually, we’ve already bought the other house and will move there. My words about to build the new one mean that I will redesign and make improvements there.
The house we sold was not like that when we’ve bought it 5 years ago. I made a lot of improvements there. Now it’s time to build final home for good retirement, while I am still capable to do so. 🙂
It is our style of life. Simple, clean and not overloaded. If you keep everything in order you do not need to have any housekeeper :-).
However, my wife trying to keep everything clean and nice.
What an amazing house! It might be hard to leave it. I’m sure your new home will be the same beautiful as this one. Good luck !
