Restless Niagara River

This river never is quiet and smooth. It has a very wayward character, and looks forward to meeting a cliff to fall down. This is Niagara Falls.

  1. Love the place. So impressive. The sound is deafening, the mist is saturating, the water chills your hand even if it’s the height of the summer.

    • Everything is right except the hand chilling 🙂 It is too dangerous to play with this river near the Falls. For some people it costs their life. However, it is nice to watch that stream and listen the music of it.

  2. Niagara is incredible. I’ve wondered how the river is before the falls.

  4. Yes, the niagara falls are really spectacular and impressive. I had the joy and the fun visiting niagara falls a few years ago. I was a little scared, but went behind the falls with a group of visitors. Thank you alexander for bringing the memory back to me.

    • I am living now very close to Niagara Falls and visiting it often. It’s not boring to see it. Every single time I can find something new. I am pleased my post recall your memories.
      My best wishes from Canada.

      • Alexander, I agree with you and I can’t imagine that such an amazing natural wonder could get boring. I live near a lake and seven mountains “Siebengebirge”, and I have the impression that it looks different every day.
        Best wishes, Alexander…🤩
