You have probably noted that I’m monitoring my followers closely wishing to find out more and especially if they were really there?
In the long run my 1030 ‘foillowers’ were reduced to a mere 150-160 and without any reduction in my traffic volumes! That ought to tell us something?! Today I contact you b ecause you have been a ‘follower’ of mine for just about 2 years now. During the last year I’ve registered a respons from you on 9 occasions, however I’ve been publishing more than a thousand pictures spread on approximately
300 different posts. I feel I should have seen more of you if you were a real ‘follower’?
Lately I have also installed a ‘cleaner’ designed to bring my attention to profiles not showing activity, and it just flagged your name 🙂
Actually it’s designed to automatically delete such profiles, but when in doubt – it asks me first! So what should I tell him?

Hi, my friend.
The answer to your question is in your question. You published more than 1000 pictures in 300 posts. I have to spend hours to see all of them and respond somehow which is impossible for me.
Previously I explained my situation. I am still full time employee and WordPress for me is a hobby where I can share my pictures and thoughts sometime with people who would like to know my vision of surrounding world. I do not have and do not request any kind of obligations. If anybody like to see and read what I show on my blog I appreciate it a lot. I visit some blogs which are not posting every single day and I do not spend hours to read and see long articles and collection of pictures. I do not have a lot of traffic to my blog but all people who visit my blog are real followers and they do not request to read and like every single their post. From time to time if I find something that really catch my attention I make comment. I have really good relations with numerous bloggers.
From the other side the WP is a two way highway. I do not see any reaction from you on my posts. So I do not understand why you expect something in return.
If my presence in your followers list bother you just delete it. I am ok with that. Sorry, if I harm you in anyway. It was not my intention.

Yes, I remember that you explained this to me once before and I know that I have not been visiting your blog as often as i should. Thewre is, however, a reason for this:
After having blogged for more than 14 years I know that it would be impossible to visit all ‘ selected followers’ if I should have any time at all to take ever new pictures. Thus I’ve limited myself to follow only 10 (and having a hard time with that) 🙂 A year ago I had a totalt of 1030 ‘followers’ (officially), but checking in depth, it became clear that there were only about 80 !!! This I had to do something about. Today I know who’s ‘following’me – and who’s not!
It is possible to see my pictures without being a ‘follower’, but I’m very happy when someone indicate sufficient interest to register as a follower. Then they are alerted to every new published post, but I had hoped it would be ‘for a reason’? That they wanted to see the new picture?
And ‘no’ I don’t expect everyone to type a comment. (In fact I hope they don’t! 🙂 )
BHut a signe indicating that they had been there would be welcome. My cleaner have flagged you (on low activity) a number of times, and – I just wanted to check if you were still there? I’ll not be returning to the days with more thatn a thousand ‘followers’ that were actually NOT there. But thanks for responding, and I’m happy that you are still there! Unfortunately, life sometimes exposes us to the test in the circumstances which are stronger than us and it takes time and efforts to come back on the track. It was some difficulties last year and beginning of that one. This summer has brought some good events and relief. I hope I will place some posts in nearest time.
