Most memorable for its distinctively elongated black spires, sumptuously carved Renaissance portal inside the main doorway and attractive stained glass, the 17th-century cathedral contains a tiny but highly revered Madonna-and-child idol (above the altar) and the graves of the royal family (in the rather atmospheric 1930s crypt).
