The week before Easter was cold and nasty. Gusting wind, snow and freezing rain made the mess everywhere.
There were only Spring dreams in Gallery Park on the Corin Sworn painting. Her work also includes a collection of vases: each week of the exhibition, a flower arrangement is designed in response to the specific period in which the vases were made. The arrangement and vase are subsequently placed in the direct beam of a projector, casting stark shadows on the wall.
Gallery Park is still waiting for the warm sunny weather to bloom all the beautiful flowers. And for now the only joy in the park is the absence of crowd and loneliness.
Today is Father’s Day here in Canada. Morning is bright and sunny. Flowers are blooming. Days are the longest of the year. Children remember they have father. Happy Life!
