Winter Dreams in Oakville
Christmas is almost here but winter does not promise to paint it white. It is still pretty warm and dry outside. What we can do in that situation just listen the song “White Christmas”. Another way to feel the winter is to recall the previous snowy and white winter. That set of pictures have been made in 2011 in Town of Oakville, Ontario. This is the beautiful town near Toronto where I used to live for 14 years. It worth to see this lovely place and enjoy its tourists area with parks, galleries, shops, restaurants, and of course Lake Ontario promenade.
It was cold, silent winter morning with lot of snow. That create a special mood and holiday spirit.
Farewell to Autumn
December already came. It is winter in the calendar although the official winter in Canada is going to come on December 20. We had already in Toronto and area snowstorm and frost but it is like a reminder from the nature that we have to be ready for the real one.
This is why we have to say final good bye to Autumn and celebrate its last warm and sunny days. It is hard to believe we had that kind of day just couple weeks ago.
People enjoy themselves with the last sunny and warm weekend. On the bank of Lake Ontario there are a lot of cozy places to relax and rest of the weekly routine.
However some places are empty and ready to be closed.
The leaves flame is still full of energy but it is over for this year.
