  1. My screen is a bit like sacred territory – I wouldn’t be comfortable having someone on the other side – a bit (???) old school I guess…

    • I did not spy on that Guy. He is my grandson. This picture have been done with his permission. It is all the time the huge issue when you make people photos. Not all of them are happy with that. This is why street portraits are not really easy genre. Street photographers have two choices either spy or ask for permission. But when person doesn’t know the portrait is more natural. That situation have been discussed numerous times in different articles. The conclusion is it is personal decision for every single photographer.

      • I already knew it – I read the previous comments – I guess the permission is only verbal, right? – so problems may occur for various reasons.

      • I know what you mean. It is not my case. Another thing is if every single photographer will think about make picture or not we never had great street photographers and their pictures.

    • For new generation it is not scary. The boy is my oldest grandson.
