Toy Town

Saturday morning sunrise was gloomy and and partially foggy. However the colourful and cute small town Niagara-on-the-Lake makes even that kind of weather festive and joyful. It is the most loveable touristic place in Niagara Falls area. No matter what season it is there are a lot of people on the streets of this beautiful town. Let me show you what it looks like in the early morning.

Sunflowers all the time watching to the East. Probably they are named not only because they look alike, but because they miss and wait for the Sun all the time.

Paletta Park

I am not going to write down about this beautiful place. For me it is just one of my favorite places related to our happy life for 23 years in the most popular among the people town of Oakville. Paletta Park is not located in Oakville but in Burlington, however both of these two towns flow smoothly from one to the other. Crossing these towns we pretty often make a short visit to some of our favorite places. Unfortunately, the towns lost their charm because of being overpopulated and become mostly looking like a city. However in the early morning or bad weather they are still the same like we found them at the very first time we saw them.

Sunday Morning in the City

I love to visit Toronto early Sunday Morning. The most comfortable time to be there because of cool air, empty streets, and absolutely no crowd. It is good time for walking around downtown and enjoy the quiet city life. On Sunday all the shops are closed till noon, only some cafes and restaurants which serve breakfast are opened. This is why there are not many people on the streets. Closer to noon the city is filling up by the people and looks like an anthill, then it is time to leave it.

Some places save Halloween decorations full year long and they become like a part of environment. The Howell Pumpkin Farm is the place where the Halloween is every single day.

Morningstar Mill

Morningstar Mill is a 2.98-acre heritage site located in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. The site includes the Morningstar Mill, a sawmill, the home of the Morningstar family, a barn used for blacksmith demonstrations, and the Decew Falls gorge along the Niagara Escarpment. (Wikipedia).

The Moon and the Sun

Beautiful morning time. The sun rises pretty early this time of the year. We are almost at the summer solstice.

On my way to work from the window of my car I met the sun in this beautiful shape and colour. Unfortunately, while driving it was impossible to make the high quality picture by iPhone, but don’t take the eyes off impossible too.

The other thing caught my eyes this morning was the Goose Family right beside the entrance of my company.

Mother Nature’s Joke

As of December 30 in the morning I saw through the window a lot of birds on the tree. They looked not really seasonal. I made pictures of them and surprisingly found they are Robins. Usually they come here sometimes at the end of March or so. However, this winter is not a real one for now. The temperature is mostly around +5C, there is no snow, even at night time we do not have any frost. Probably, the birds felt the Spring in the air and decided to come back to us. They actually brought the Spring on their wings and happiness of New Year!
